Pick-up is set by default at the airport of Saint-Barthélemy (SBH) in St Jean. Delivery to a hotel or villa elsewhere on the island is available; any delivery charge is confirmed during booking.

You need a valid driving licence and a credit card with embossed (raised) numbers in the main driver’s name as a guarantee. Electron and Maestro cards are not accepted.

No. We no longer take a security deposit. The excess that applies to your category (the vehicle value without a damage waiver, a reduced excess with the CDW option) is stated, before you book, in your quote and on the pre-contractual information page.

You can change or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up, online or by phone. A cancellation less than 24 hours before pick-up, or a no-show (you do not come for pick-up at all), is charged the total amount of the booked rental. During the festive period the rental is non-refundable, and a minimum rental length stated in your quote is billed. A prepaid rate is non-refundable. If you arrive more than 2 hours after the scheduled time (or after your flight lands, if you gave it), a late-arrival fee applies (see article 4.1 of the rental conditions) and the availability of a vehicle is no longer assured.

Vehicles are rented with a full tank and should be returned with a full tank. Returning the car without a full tank results in a refuelling charge.

Yes. You have a 60-minute grace period for returns before an additional rental day is charged.

Compact cars are ideal for parking in Gustavia and St Jean. SUVs and Jeep categories are better for luggage, groups and steep villa access.
