Pre-contract information

This information is provided before any booking, in accordance with the order of 17 March 2015 (annex A) on vehicle rental. All prices are shown in euros, all taxes included.

Conditions of rental and security deposit

A security deposit is requested when the vehicle is handed over, on the main driver’s bank card. Its amount is the excess of the basic cover included in the price (see “Insurance and excess”). It is released after the vehicle is returned, less any sums due.

The price is paid at the agency when you collect the vehicle, by the main driver, who must be the payer. A credit card with embossed numbers in their name is required (Electron and Maestro not accepted). A security deposit is mandatory at pick-up; it is released after return, less any sums due.

Prices, fuel and mileage

The rental price depends on the category, the dates and the length of the rental. The total price including taxes, itemised by service, is shown before you confirm a booking. “From” prices on the site are indicative. A booking is for a category: a similar vehicle of the same category may be supplied.

The vehicle is supplied with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank; otherwise the missing fuel is charged.

Insurance and excess

The vehicle is covered by compulsory third-party liability insurance, which does not cover damage to the rented vehicle. An insurance option reduces the renter’s financial liability for damage, within the limits, excess and exclusions stated in the rental agreement, available on request before booking.

Basic cover included in the price: Assurance au tiers (incluse). For each category, the excess (the part of any damage that remains payable by you) equals the security deposit shown above.

Additional services and prices

Costs payable directly by the customer

Not included in the total price: fuel missing at return, delivery or hand-over outside the agency's opening hours (8 am – 6 pm), charged €45, rental extensions, damage, excess, fines and penalties for which the renter is liable under the rental agreement.

Changes and cancellation

You can cancel or change your booking online: manage my booking.

No fee is charged if you cancel or change at least 24 hours before the pick-up time. A cancellation less than 24 hours before pick-up, or a no-show (you do not come for pick-up at all), is charged the total amount of the booked rental. If you arrive more than 2 hours after the scheduled time (or after your flight lands, if you gave it), a €45 late-arrival fee applies and the availability of a vehicle is no longer guaranteed. Christmas period (December 15 to January 6): a minimum of 10 rental days is billed whatever the actual duration. After pick-up, no refund is made.

Payment

No payment is taken online when you book: the rental price is paid at the agency when the vehicle is handed over. The booking nevertheless commits you to pay that price and, where applicable, the cancellation fees set out under “Changes and cancellation”.

No right of withdrawal

Under article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to car rental contracts to be performed on a specific date or within a specific period. You therefore have no withdrawal period for a booking made on this site; the conditions under “Changes and cancellation” apply.
